Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 September 2026
This policy explains how e2 apps handles information when you use the Opioid Conversion Calculator mobile app or this website. The app is intended for health professionals and does not require an account.
Medicine selections, doses, conversion results, and other clinical inputs are processed on your device. We do not send those clinical inputs to Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, RevenueCat, or our website.
1. Information we process
Clinical calculations
The app stores calculation inputs and preferences locally on your device. We do not operate a patient record, cloud calculation history, or user account service. Do not enter directly identifying patient information into free-text fields.
Purchases and subscriptions
Google Play or Apple processes your payment. We do not receive or store your card number or payment security code. RevenueCat receives purchase history, subscription status, product identifiers, and an app-specific identifier so the app can provide and restore Pro access and so we can understand subscription performance.
App analytics
Firebase Analytics processes app interactions, app and device identifiers, device and operating-system information, language, broad region inferred from an IP address, and purchase-funnel events. Our custom events describe onboarding, paywall, trial, purchase, and restore steps. They do not contain medicine names, doses, conversion results, or patient information.
On Android, Google services may access the advertising identifier for analytics where the device and platform make it available. The app does not contain third-party advertising and we do not use this information for targeted advertising.
Crash and diagnostic data
Firebase Crashlytics processes crash reports and diagnostic details, including stack traces, app state, app version, device model, operating-system version, and an installation identifier. We use this information to find and fix faults. Crash reports should not contain clinical calculation inputs, but information visible in app state at the time of a fault may be included by the operating system or SDK.
Information you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. Please do not send patient-identifying or other sensitive clinical information in a support request.
Website information
This website does not run advertising trackers. Vercel hosts the site and may process standard request and security information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time to deliver and protect the service.
Optional website analytics
If you choose to allow website analytics, Google Analytics measures page visits and clicks on app download links. It processes the page path, referring website, selected store, button location, browser and device information, broad region and cookie identifiers. We do not use website analytics for advertising or send contact-form contents or clinical calculation inputs.
Google Analytics does not load until you allow it. We remove URL query strings and fragments from the page addresses sent by our tracking code. Your analytics choice is saved in your browser so we can remember it.
You can change your choice using “Analytics preferences” in the footer. Declining stops further analytics collection in that browser and removes the website's Google Analytics cookies. Previously collected information is not deleted by changing this setting.
2. Service providers
We use the following providers to operate the app and website. They process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.
- Google Firebase and Google Analytics. App analytics, crash reporting, app configuration and optional website analytics. Read the Firebase privacy information.
- RevenueCat. Purchase validation, entitlement, and subscription analytics. Read the RevenueCat privacy policy.
- Google Play and Apple. Storefronts, payment processing, subscriptions, and purchase restoration. Read the Google privacy policy and Apple privacy policy.
- Vercel. Website hosting, delivery, and security. Read the Vercel privacy policy.
These providers may process information in Australia, the United States, Europe, or other countries where they operate. We use providers that publish contractual and technical safeguards for international processing.
3. Why we process information
- Provide, validate, and restore purchases and Pro access.
- Understand onboarding and purchase-funnel performance.
- Find crashes, diagnose faults, and improve app reliability.
- Answer support requests.
- Meet legal, tax, security, and store-policy obligations.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract for purchases and requested services, legitimate interests in operating and improving the app, consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use app data for third-party advertising, credit decisions, insurance decisions, or automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Retention and security
Local calculation data remains on your device until you change it, clear the app data, or remove the app. App preferences exported by you remain wherever you choose to store the exported file.
Firebase, RevenueCat, the app stores, and Vercel retain information according to their service settings, contractual obligations, and legal requirements. We keep support correspondence only as long as needed to answer the request, maintain a reasonable support record, or meet a legal obligation.
Data sent between the app and its service providers is encrypted in transit. No internet service or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Your choices and rights
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play or Apple.
- Reset the advertising identifier or limit related permissions in your device settings, where your platform provides those controls.
- Clear locally stored app data through your device settings or by uninstalling the app.
- Ask us about access, correction, objection, restriction, or deletion rights that apply in your region.
The app has no user accounts, and most SDK data uses pseudonymous installation or app identifiers rather than your name or email. We may therefore be unable to link a request to a specific anonymous record. We will explain what is possible and respond as required by applicable law.
The app is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
